CityWalk is most comparable to the west side of Downtown Disney -fun for browsing and impulse buys. While CityWalk kicks out all of the children at a certain time, Downtown Disney let’s the family stay in, after all, it’s Disney. During Downtown Disney, you won’t have to walk so far to get to the next shop or cafe/resteraunt, but as for CityWalk, you may require to do alot of walking. As well as Downtown Disney parking you don’t have to pay anything, where as at Universal Studios, you have to pay for parking, or wait until after the theme parks close. CityWalk isn’t even nearly as big as DownTown Disney. But from the point of view of a daywalker, this place just doesn’t have as much to offer as some of the local malls or Downtown Disney.

If you are a drinker/partier, City Walk. If not, Downtown Disney. There’s really not much at City Walk unless you are just going to eat at one of the restaurants (and there are some good ones) or seeing a movie. At Downtown Disney, there’s a larger variety of shops to pass the time.
