   DC is large, so those questions are hard to answer. Each 5-6 block area is it’s own little world w/ restaurants, hotels, etc. I would suggest going to a travel site and filtering by price, etc., within your means. Marriotts in DC are always nice. Grand Hyatt.

   As for what to do, the museums, the Mall, the monuments. Excellent times and mostly free.
